HAMPTON, Va. (WVEC) -- Dunkin' Donuts has announced the opening of a 'next generation concept' store in Hampton!
On June 12, Virginia will have the first of its kind, 'store of the future.' The Dunkin' Donuts will have a modern atmosphere with new, innovative technologies and design elements to make running on Dunkin' faster and more convenient.
The new store located at 3370 Commander Shepard Boulevard will include a faster than ever drive-thru experience, premium pours, increased energy efficiency and a modern design.
The new generation drive-thru, or walk up, will make it easier and faster for customers to get their order. It will offer an exclusive 'On-the-Go' drive-thru lane for DD Perks members who order ahead of time. It allows customers to bypass the ordering lane and head straight to the pickup window.
Dunkin' is the first national restaurant to offer this type of drive-thru.
The 'premium pours' are Dunkin's new way to serve their signature cold beverages. Cold beverages like coffee, iced tea, cold brew coffee, and nitro infused cold brew coffee, will be served out of the taps.
The new store opens at 5 a.m. on Tuesday. The first five guests will receive free coffee for a year! The following 32 guests will each get a free $100 Dunkin' gift card. During the 10 a.m. ribbon cutting, customers can have the chance to get free samples and giveaways.
There are more than 12,200 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants worldwide in 45 countries, including more than 8,800 Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants across the U.S. and more than 3,400 international restaurants.
