Carnival Victory is undergoing a $200 million refurbishment that is also leading to a name change: it will now be named Carnival Radiance.

NORFOLK, Va. (WVEC) — In a first for Norfolk's cruise ship program, Carnival Cruise Lines announced that it will offer two trips to Cuba from Nauticus in 2020.

The newly remodeled Carnival Radiance will offer two week-long trips that include Havana, as well as one six-night and one five-night trip to the Bahamas.

The Havana ports-of-call will be on the Radiance's October 18 and October 25 sailings.

Additionally, the Carnival Sunrise -- also recently remodeled -- will operate one six-night and two five-night cruises from Nauticus to the Bahamas in 2020.

According to a press release from Nauticus, both the Sunrise and Radiance will feature an enhanced onboard experience that includes refurbished staterooms and onboard experiences. The Carnival Radiance will also debut the first at-sea version of Shaquille O’Neal’s Vegas-based restaurant, Big Chicken.
