3 children, 3 adults displaced after fire breaks out at Chesapeake apartment

It only took firefighters six minutes to get to the apartment and get to work on the fire. Three children and three adults were displaced, but no one was hurt.

CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Three children and three adults were displaced after a fire broke out in a Chesapeake apartment.

Firefighters received a call for a fire in the 1400 block of Bainbridge Boulevard at 4:12 p.m. on Wednesday. When they arrived firefighters found smoke and fire coming from the second floor of a building. 

The fire was endangering other buildings and so crews quickly got to work. The firefighters had the fire completely out by at 5:37 p.m. They were able to minimize the damage to the rest of the building.

No one was injured, but three children and three adults were displaced.
