NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk detectives said a 16-year-old girl who ran away nearly three weeks ago has been found and was reunited with her family.
Alexis M. Emory was last seen on the morning of April 18 in Norfolk. She was also spotted in Roanoke that same day.
At the time she ran away, police had reason to believe she was heading to the neighboring state of West Virginia.
Norfolk police tweeted Friday that she's back with her family.
