NORFOLK, Va. — A man has been charged after a fatal shooting in the 600 block of Dudley Avenue on Wednesday, the Norfolk Police Department (NPD) said.
Quinton D. Wade, 37, has been charged with second-degree murder and use of a firearm for shooting a Norfolk woman.
Police responded to a call around 9:55 pm reporting a shooting.
Jessica Ayers, 35, was found with life-threatening injuries. She was transported to the hospital, where she later died.
Wade was arrested around 4:30 p.m. on Thursday and is being held without bond.
