Man accused of stabbing 2 co-workers in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. — One man is facing charges for allegedly stabbing two co-workers in Norfolk.

According to the Norfolk Police Department, officers were called to the 700 block of W. 25th Street on Wednesday night for a report of a stabbing victim. Officers arrived to find two men suffering from minor stab wounds.

Based on a preliminary investigation, the two men had gotten into a fight with a co-worker, who allegedly stabbed them. The incident is believed to have happened a few blocks from where the victims were found, on W. 28th Street.

23-year-old Jesus D. Pirala is charged with two counts of malicious wounding. He is currently being held without bond at the Norfolk City Jail.

It's the latest in a series of unrelated stabbings that have happened in Norfolk in less than a week. 

On Saturday, two people were stabbed just an hour apart near Military Circle Mall. Then on Monday, another person was stabbed in West Ocean View.
