If you're a fan of chopping, sawing, climbing and rolling, then this will be the place to be!

FRANKLIN, Va. — The third annual Lumberjack Festevent is making its way back to downtown Franklin. If you're a fan of chopping, sawing, climbing and rolling, then this will be the place to be!

The event will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Event organizers say it's a family-fun experience that will feature the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show, lumberjack competitions, chainsaw carving, colossal cornhole boards, sidewalk chalk art, a petting zoo, axe throwing, a diaper derby, artisan vendors, and more.

It will be located in downtown Franklin, by the river. The event is rain-or-shine, and organizers suggest you bring chairs. Tickets are $5 for adults and $2 for kids 12 and under.
