NORFOLK, Va. — A man is seriously hurt following a shooting in broad daylight on Monday.
Norfolk police said the shooting happened around 12:45 p.m. in the 600 block of East Olney Road, in Young Terrace. Officers arrived to find a man suffering from serious injuries. He was taken to the hospital to be treated but it's not known what his current condition is.
One person was detained at the scene, although police have not said if they believe it's the suspect responsible for the shooting.
