NORFOLK, Va. — A push for racial equity in Hampton Roads: the YWCA of South Hampton Roads is gearing up for its annual R.E.S.T. Conference at Norfolk State University. Their goal is to bring the community together and advance racial justice and equity issues in policies, institutions, and culture.
The R.E.S.T. Conference partners with NSU's Center for African-American Public Policy and features panels and workshops.
This year's conference will be held on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at NSU's Student Center.
